1. Agreement to Terms
By requesting, scheduling, or receiving any service from SkyShine Aircraft Detailing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Company and the Client and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings regarding the subject matter herein.
2. Services
SkyShine Aircraft Detailing provides mobile aircraft detailing services including but not limited to exterior washing, interior cleaning, paint correction, ceramic coating application, and recurring maintenance plans. All services are performed at the Client's designated hangar or FBO location within the California Bay Area.
3. Pre-Existing Conditions & Damage Disclaimer
SkyShine Aircraft Detailing is not responsible for any pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions on the aircraft prior to service commencement.
Before beginning any work, our team will conduct a visual inspection and may take timestamped photographs documenting the current condition of the aircraft. These photos serve as a record of the aircraft's state before our service begins. The Client acknowledges and agrees that:
- Any scratches, oxidation, paint defects, stains, tears, cracks, or other damage observed before service are pre-existing and not caused by our work.
- Certain surfaces (aged paint, deteriorated clear coat, worn leather, brittle plastics) may reveal underlying damage during cleaning that was not previously visible.
- We are not liable for the exposure of hidden defects during the normal course of professional detailing.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or loss of anticipated profits.
- We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, airport restrictions, hangar access issues, or force majeure events as described in Section 16.
5. Insurance
SkyShine Aircraft Detailing maintains a general liability insurance policy of $2,000,000 (two million U.S. dollars). We are a credentialed vendor at San Carlos Airport (KSQL) and Half Moon Bay Airport (KHAF). A Certificate of Insurance is available upon request. Our insurance coverage does not extend to:
- Pre-existing damage or conditions as described in Section 3.
- Damage caused by the Client, their employees, or third parties.
- Normal wear and tear on aircraft surfaces.
6. Products & Materials
We exclusively use aviation-safe, non-corrosive products that are appropriate for aircraft surfaces, including but not limited to Optimum No Rinse, Plexus, Aerospace 303, and System X Max G+ (Boeing-certified ceramic coating). We do not use automotive-grade products that may damage composite surfaces, seals, or avionics.
The Client is responsible for informing us of any special coatings, treatments, or surface sensitivities specific to their aircraft before service begins.
7. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
- Booking Confirmation: All booking requests are subject to confirmation by SkyShine Aircraft Detailing. A booking is not confirmed until the Client receives written confirmation (via email or text).

SkyShine Aircraft Detailing is not responsible for any FBO-related charges and will not be held liable for fees incurred at the service location.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client of any known FBO charges during the booking process when such information is available. However, the Client is ultimately responsible for confirming and settling any additional fees with the FBO prior to or during the service.

By agreeing to these Terms, the Client grants SkyShine Aircraft Detailing a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use photographs and videos of the aircraft for marketing and promotional purposes. We will exercise discretion and will not display identifiable tail numbers, registration marks, or other personally identifying information in public-facing materials without explicit written consent from the Client.
If the Client does not wish for their aircraft to be photographed for marketing purposes, they must notify us in writing prior to the scheduled service. Documentation photographs for condition reporting will still be taken regardless of marketing preferences.
